E. W. King: The Most Important Thing The Church Does Is Stay At Home And Focus Upon One's Self

$

Armstrongism has always thought of itself as special and set apart.  God was only working with and was only going to save COG members in that great day of trial and tribulation.  The world was not to be bothered with other than to warn them to shape up or else.  Nothing else was done for the world because God was going to fix it all later.

E. W King the new and current leader of the REAL Worldwide Church of God proves that point with this idiocy:

The Worldwide Church of God is the center of Christian Life. We are the “body of Christ”. As true believers and those experiencing true conversion we continue to grow together and learn from each other. We are most importantly the Church at home, with fellow family members. The home is the sacred meeting place for Christian Life.
The observant Christian begins the day and ends it with prayer. All of our meals are accompanied by prayer and concluded with it. We eat the diet that our Heavenly Father advises. Our every week ends with Holy Sabbath rest. We as families come together in our homes on Friday evening and light Sabbath candles and say prayers to invite the Sabbath experience into our lives. This is consistent from childhood to adulthood. We also observe all of God’s holy festivals. As family and friends come together God is praised and fellowship begins. Our children are taught the moral commandments of God and experience the importance of family life. We learn that ALL LIFE is precious.
The entire life cycle of the child revolves around God’s church. From baptism to weekly Sabbath experience, from holy festival to holy festival, from eating to sleeping, from praying and talking with mom and dad, husband and wife - we experience God’s love like no other people on this earth. Home worship is extremely important. Preparing our children to one day marry as God has ordained is extremely important. We pray and worship without ever having to leave our homes to go to some fancy building.

That's rgith, clos eyourselves up on your homes, homeschool your kids, only read boks written by Herbert Armstorng, associate only wiht your closest church members and above all NEVER, NEVER help the world!

Many denominations today have lowered the standard of God. They do this to get members. The true Church of God is not worried about membership numbers. The true Church of God will always be a remnant. [Revelation 12:17] We should all pray for courage to talk with others about the true gospel of the Kingdom. Only God’s coming kingdom will solve all of our problems. In the mean time we can rest in His one true church. This Devil-ruled world does not want the Good News of the Kingdom or the laws of our Great God. Truly obeying all of God’s laws will indeed bring health and healing on all levels.

Bob Thiel's Vengeful god Is Back Punishing California With Wildfires

Bob Thiel's god is apparently on a rampage in California again.  Is his god so pissed off that he let a Kenyan still tithe money that it is punishing the State of California because Thiel lives here?  That logic is about as logical as Thiel's claim that his god is trying to wake the world up.

Wildfires are part of the Sierra in the summer. But no one has seen a fire this out of control since 1987 when all of California seemed to be burning.  http://www.latimes.com/local/la-me-yosemite-fire-20130824,0,1432454.story?page=1
The Bible shows that God uses weather to get people’s attention. Sometimes to punish, sometimes to lead to repentance, and other times to consider that God, not humankind, is in control.
Wildfires have always been a part of the world humanity lives it.  It is a natural way of cleaning overgrowth to allow new growth to start anew.  Only because we have a hyperventilating press and a population that has moved into theses areas, are they in the news so much.   Then, coupling that with the whacked out view of a nutty Armstrongite spouting "biblical" passages and you have the ultimate godly super-storm of wrath and punishment.
Although California historically has wildfires, the Bible also mentions fire as a tool that God sometimes uses. Here are some examples:
11 The Lord said:
“Surely it will be well with your remnant;
Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you
In the time of adversity and in the time of affliction.
12 Can anyone break iron,
The northern iron and the bronze?
13 Your wealth and your treasures
I will give as plunder without price,
Because of all your sins,
Throughout your territories.
14 And I will make you cross over with your enemies
Into a land which you do not know;
For a fire is kindled in My anger,
Which shall burn upon you.” (Jeremiah 15:11-14)
12 O house of David! Thus says the Lord:
“Execute judgment in the morning;
And deliver him who is plundered
Out of the hand of the oppressor,
Lest My fury go forth like fire
And burn so that no one can quench it,
Because of the evil of your doings.
13 “Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley,
And rock of the plain,” says the Lord,
“Who say, ‘Who shall come down against us?
Or who shall enter our dwellings?’
14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings,” says the Lord;
“I will kindle a fire in its forest,
And it shall devour all things around it.”‘ (Jeremiah 21:12-14)
11 The Lord has fulfilled His fury,
He has poured out His fierce anger.
He kindled a fire in Zion,
And it has devoured its foundations. (Lamentations 4:11)
15 There the fire will devour you,
The sword will cut you off;
It will eat you up like a locust. (Nahum 3:15)
But have comfort Oh distressed ones....the non-ordained and s self-appointed Chief Overseer of the worlds most import Church of God doing an end-time work, Dr. Bob is praying for you!

My family used to live near the area of the current wildfire and I know of people who are being affected by it.
Then we see the REAL point of Thiels article, those gays are the cause of it.
My prayers are with those affected by the fires.  I also pray that those in California will repent as worse problems are ahead if it continues to go in a moral direction away from the Bible.  California set a bad standard last Fall when it became the first USA state to outlaw attempts to convert homosexuals from that ‘lifestyle’ (see California’s Brown Signs Anti-Homosexual Conversion Bill)–the State of New Jersey recently followed California’s bad example (see Republican Christie to sign bill outlawing homosexual conversion therapy).  Additionally, the State of California has other issues where it is also setting very bad examples (such as the production of pornographic entertainment).
The same old drumbeat of Armstrongism marches on and on, thankfully the  drum skins are getting old and will soon break leaving these buffoons with nothing to scare people with.

Bob Thiel, Ever the Comedian, the Hobbit Talks About Women

Bob Thiel, is  he a Hobbit or what?

Does he realize how stupid he still looks sitting in front of that crooked bookcase?  Bookcases that have doors on them usually only cover a couple of shelves on the bottom of the bookcase.  Look across the room at your book case and see if your doors go up over halfway as Bob's do in his videos.  Those doors extend up past his chair.  Everything about the image he presents is off kilter, just like his ministry.

He starts off trying to be cute and humorous about women in the New Testament.  You can hear his wife or some other female chortle along with him.  Then he starts flapping his arms, waving his wrists and laughing that it so is distracting to what he is trying to get across that you will quickly tune out after 3 minutes.

Seven Different COG's Will Be Having A Feast In Branson And None Will Speak To Each Other

Remember the years of one COG site in a city with sometimes up to 15,000 people?  Well those days are gone, along with a "one" COG.  Now there are hundreds and hundreds of COG's all pretending they are the best ever.  Imagine what it is going to be like in Branson, Missouri this year with SEVEN different COG's all holding God's most important Feast days in their own  insular little groups.  All of them preaching about a Kingdom of God where the world will be unified.  Are they too dumb to see what is wrong with this picture?

Talk about awkward moments in restaurants and casino's!  Everyone is going to be watching which group eats some shrimp or some bacon. What's a poor parent to do when their kid wants to play with another kid from another COG.  Ghastly days!  What a dilemma!

According to feastgoer.org, at least 7 COG’s are going to be united in one city but divided and not meeting together in Branson  from the largest UCG to some smaller groups – it looks like if Florida’s got the biggest city to site capita, Branson’s got the biggest cog-in-city capita. Well, it’s for good reason – if you like shows and entertainment. They’ve got the silver dollar park, and what seems to be countless shows with stars, singers, and entertainment. I checked what’s going on in September in Branson – and no wonder! You can be on The Price Is Right Live, literally countless shows and singer tribute shows, hey, might as well just show you the whole huge list to choose from!

The Branson 2013 Challenge

I am absolutely the last person any COG would ever pick to write about the Unity of the Faith  and with good reason.  Balancing, if that is a goal in the realities presented by both science done well and religion, the conflict between faith and skepticism is a challenge for me and many to say the least.   "Just have faith" means nothing to me as it seems like what you say when you can't explain something well or simply have no answer for something that obviously is unbelievable.  Believing the unbelievable has become a personal problem. On top of that, the politics of religion and in my own experience, within the Church of God has put me off beyond measure.  I'm probably still stuck in an idealism of childhood.  Someone once thought I did not get much beyond 11 in my reactions and idealistic expectations of oneself and others.  Perhaps they were right.

Christ Church Episcopal-Greenville, SC

Founded 1826

I'm writing this because I am going to have my first formal church experience in a couple hours. It will be Episcopal and the oldest surviving church building in Greenville.  The reasons for going are varied at this time.  This is only the second time in 15 years I have been inside a church building.  I do like the fact that Christ Church's stain glass, done in 1914 of the Lord's Supper, clearly shows Da Vinci's belief that Mary and Jesus were closer than the Gospel stories would like you to believe.  She plainly sits on his right hand in the picture at Christ Church.  Even the person I was with when I commented on the whole picture suddenly said, "Hey, who is that woman in the picture?"  Lol.  She has gone there since childhood and never noticed until I mentioned how nice the stain glass was. I did not say anything about Mary.

Da Vinci also made it so that if you placed Mary on Jesus left instead of right, it forms a very endearing couple with robes complimenting each other.  Also , the four groups of three may have had the deeper message of the Four Seasons around the Son of God (Sun) who was Most High in June, but I spare you!

I returned to my old Presbyterian Church for mom's memorial service.  It was the same inside as when I played a shepherd in the Christmas play for Sunday School.  The pews were the ones we all sat on decades ago as children when our feet would not touch the floor and our parents were young with all of life ahead.  The woman who brought me down the isle for my baptism to present to my parents, as an infant, and the baptismal still sitting where it did then, was sitting on the front row.  The Sanctuary had not changed one bit but we all had of course. That's the nature of a stable church.  It gives good memories

So why write to challenge the myriad of Feast of Tabernacles churches and groups that will descend upon Branson, Mo. this year, to reach out and mend broken fences and share common hopes?   Because I know they won't and can't I suppose. Maybe to prove they tend to more competing corporations and marketers than really stable beliefs and congregations. .

Religion is an organizational thing.   Spirituality is a whole other thing. They are COG "leaders" and leaders don't wish to give up their autonomy for the general good it seems. It threatens loss of members to others.  No Dave Pack is going to shake hands with a Vic Kubik of course, but maybe Vic Kubik could shake hands with one or two or three of the more balanced and open minded leaders of other groups. Or at least try   I suspect those under a Rod Meredith type might really wish to shake the hand and share a common service at Branson with someone they know but they don't have the power to make such a decision. Of course there are the zealots in each who would howl to the heavens.  Rod would require them to come to him and the idea of "come let us reason together" is totally lost on that generation of COG leaders.  Anyone outside of them is of the "marked" and "disfellowshipped' or as Vic Kubik taught me when I was 22, "dis-membered" crowd.  We don't talk to them.

In reality, of course, none are bad folk or fallen away from their hopes and understanding of what the Bible says to them.  They just ran afoul of closed minded, limited view and authoritarian Bible readers of this or that persuasion.   Gone are the days of feeling bad about being put out of the one true church.  Now you can just slide over to another true church and feel right at home.  It was my first thought when the Tkaches reinvented the wheel of my Presbyterian past.  "Well if this is so, then screw driving thousands of miles a year to church.  Down the street works just fine and no you can't have anymore of my resources."  Seemed a no brainer to me.

Anyway...  May I suggest if not arranging to share a service together, how about a hymn sing before or after one?   I know...that could be emotional and someone would lose members to the other who would gain them depending on the mood. I suspect there will be a lot of festival sermon and church hoping in Branson anyway.  A day here, a service there and meals out with the "enemy" are probably going to be common place. The kids with friends in "the splinters" in Branson will find each other and talk about how stupid church is and this idea of same hopes and views, practices and even hymns but turf wars galore. It will cause them to shun the whole thing first chance they get. Just because they aren't talking to mom and dad about it does not mean they do not observe such stupidities among themselves and their peers.  I know I would if I was a COG kid in Branson this year.  I also know I would not care who my kids talked with in Branson were that the case.  I found it more healthy to send them the message in life that they got to make their own beliefs and truths decisions just as I did and do .  Of course you have to live with them and sometimes recover from them.

So...We all know now that after 3 requests for Dave Pack to come out from behind the walls of the Restored Castle of God and down from the mountain, to talk theology and the Bible , he won't, but how about a challenge for even just two different but the same Churches of God in Branson to share a common service at least once?   We need two real Church of God leaders to suck it up and show some class.  We need someone , somewhere to prove it's not just about getting and keeping members, collecting money and increasing  the numbers.

First Presbyterian Church :: Noisy Offering

Religion is what others stuff into your head.  Where to be, when to show up, what to believe and how much give.  Spirituality is an inside job and while each may have a different perspective on the whole thing, spiritual people don't sweat the details and they don't major in the minors as we see so pathetically done by, say, a James Malm type of Church of God cast off.

Besides...If any Branson Feast Churches of God, even just two, answer the challenge, it will drive the Apostle Joshua C. Packstrong nuts.

Well...off to Church.  If they sing the "wrong" hymn and memories of a kinder and more gentle time in religion come flowing back...I'm toast for a time before the skepticism returns.

PCG Says: Those Who Have Tattoos are Vanity Filled Rebellious People Who Are Into Satanism, Sexual Perversions, and Criminal Behavior

Tattoos are linked to criminal behavior, sexual perversion, rebellion and personal vanity. The desire to have a tattoo finds its origins in the mind of the god of this world, Satan the devil, who was lifted up by his own vanity which led to his rebellion (Ezekiel 28:17; Isaiah 14:13-14).

The mind numbing stupidity that comes out the Philadelphia Church of God never fails to surprise me.  Besides Dave Pack, no other Church of God  is filled with such theological depraved idiots as those in the Philadelphia Church of God.  I don't think these jerkwads have a Godly bone in their bodies.

PCG Trots Out HWA To Mock Christians - Again

$

The Philadelphia Church of God has trotted out another article of Herbert Armstrong's that he wrote in 1971.  It is a smear letter against Christians outside of Armstrongism.  They are painted as fools because they refuse to listen to HWA's message.

As the supreme leader of the Worldwide Church of God, HWA was THE authority in all matters.  Only his books, booklets, articles, TV broadcasts and radio programs were the legitimate manifestation of truth.  Therefore, all COG members recognized him as the superior authority over them.

Who can forget the COG organizational charts that the Church  passed out in the 60's and 70's. There was God, then Jesus Christ, then Herbert Armstrong.  Salvation was only accessible through HWA and his authority.

The very source of Armstrongism was Herbert Armstrong.  He was the source of our religion.  Our belief was professed according to his demands.

Our religion was Herbert Armstrong, the source of all knowledge.  It is no wonder the hundreds of splinter groups still can't talk about Jesus but slobber all over HWA.  He is their religion.  Spirituality, be damned!

What is religion, anyway?

Religion is the obedience, service or adoration rendered to the object of one’s worship—a system of faith and devotion to a superior authority—the profession, practice or observance of whatever belief and practice is required by that superior authority.

The very source of your religion, then, is that superior authority. Whatever that authority that to you has appeared superior—you received your religion from it, and you profess whatever belief, and observe whatever practice it requires!

The question, then, now becomes: “What IS that superior authority?”

Is that source of your religious belief and practice a supreme, all-powerful, personal God?—a God who created all matter, force and energy—who created everything that exists?

The incredible answer, in nearly all cases, believe it or not—is NO!!  Why God Is Not Real To Most People

You Tell Me...

This past Sunday I sat, for the first time in almost 15 years, through the formal service of Christ Church Episcopal here in Greenville.  Services follow a very rigid liturgical format. Nothing happens or is said that is not suppose to happen or be said.  There was a time to rise and a time to kneel, a time to sing and a time to listen to singing.  The prayers were read and the congregational responses to the Pastors readings were standard and predictable.  It is not the kind of service I would look forward to every week for  it lacked an openness of teaching that seems to be what would motivate myself in such a position.  It did seem the congregation was probably Biblically basic in exposure and that job clearly rests on the shoulders of their clergy in services. Outside of services I would bet it is business as usual and mind your own business.
Religion Resources Online – The Episcopal Church
The Homily for the week was the following:
Luke 13:10-17
New Living Translation

Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

10 One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue,11 he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight.12 When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!”13 Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God!
14 But the leader in charge of the synagogue was indignant that Jesus had healed her on the Sabbath day. “There are six days of the week for working,” he said to the crowd. “Come on those days to be healed, not on the Sabbath.”
15 But the Lord replied, “You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don’t you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water?16 This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?”
17 This shamed his enemies, but all the people rejoiced at the wonderful things he did."

While the service was 75 minutes, the sermon was perhaps 12 or a sermonette as we would know it.  There may be some leeway for the Pastor, but not much.  He was very good at his analysis of this passage and his theological education showed through.  He took the side of both Jesus AND the Rabbi or Pharisee who felt so responsible to keep the people on track in Sabbath keeping.   The Rabbi was not self righteous about this.  He was concerned that there be no "work" on Sabbath as said all the law and the prophets.  Gospel Jesus, of course, made his point in the story which was the point to be made, but I appreciated taking a compassionate understanding of the Rabbi who felt responsible to teach as well.  It was not off base one bit to wonder why Jesus could not have done this on the day before or the day after the Sabbath on the Rabbi's part since the woman had an 18 year problem that was not fatal and she was not in need of immediate help.  It was a good message on the passage.

My sense was that Episcopalians would never care to comment or speculate on when and how Jesus was going to return. I doubt they give a rats ass about "prophecy coming alive" or just which Episcopal Church is the true one.  There are no gurus, Apostles who get the last word or men who seem to need more medications than congregations. Christ Church has had it's splits but usually over social issues and conservative vs. liberal views.

Christ church pays these men very very well because they work very hard serving the congregation and did the hard work of a detailed theological education for their denomination.  I can't imagine the peels of laughter the congregation would let loose should the minister declare himself to be an Apostle, a Prophet , The Watcher or Joshua the High Priest as literally spoken of and predictions made  for August of 2013.  It just would never happen.

He just said what?

So as I sat there musing on my own past and perceived losses in my own good intentions in becoming a part of WCG when very young and idealistic, I also thought..."What if this man stood up today, in front of this congregation,  and said things like...

"I want to make a statement about...me...now, if I became deceived, I will never tell you what I'm going to tell you now...I am telling you if I go off into strange ideas, misconduct, rebellion, you name it, don't follow me. I want to tell you that now, because if I start doing that I'm gonna try to get you to follow me! I'm gonna come to you and tell you it doesn't apply, it doesn't mean me, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's OK to follow me because ABCD and XY and Z. Do you understand what I'm saying? Listen to me now, when I tell you don't follow me if I go off into weird ideas, or if I get off into other things that are total absolutely unscriptural conduct, because if I do I'm gonna paint it with a different face and try to get you to follow me. Do you understand what I'm saying brethren? Please remember that, because I promise you that if I become deceived, I'll forget it, and I'll want you to forget it...And I hope you'll remember it well enough to quote it right back to me...But I'll tell you what, I'm not going anywhere."

(Sorry to repeat these quotes of David C Pack but they are just stunning and need to be kept in the public view in my opinion. Perhaps they will be moot next week at this time.)
Crazy Man

I know exactly what would happen at Christ Church or any Church in Greenville.  There would be a stunned reaction from the audience of very successful and decades long members of the Christ Church congregation to begin with.  I'm sure the other four pastors in attendance would escort the man from the pulpit, or the "pool pit" as the radio preachers call it.  I think the audience full of doctors, surgeons, dentists, bankers, businessmen, the Mayor of Greenville and many other highly educated and intelligent people would simply feel the man had gone off his rocker and they would wish him a good recovery. He'd never speak again and would be the topic of memories of "that day" for decades to come.  The news of his mental crash would spread through Greenville like a tsunami and there would be Episcopal services again as usual next week.  Christ Church did have it's experiences with arrogant and misguided types from my contacts and, while it took time, they did manage to run them off.  The survival of the church NEVER depended on the current pastor.

Two Witnesses in the book of Revelation By be-ready.org - Good

Why on God's Green Earth does it happen without fail in the Wild World of God Churches?  Why does a Gerald Flurry even exist as a religious leader?  Why oh why did and do people , however few in reality, identify with a Ron Weinland who never gave a meaningful sermon in his life and thought he could live like a King while telling people he and his wife were and are the Two Witnesses of Revelation?
What kind of people sat and sit listening and agreeing with Dave Pack over all this Spring and Summer Time foolishness that he is the Joshua spoken of in the Minor Prophet Haggai?  Who lets a man get away with the bullying for bucks and meanderings of thought over his self and ego centric importance to God and planet earth?  Are they just so used to ONE HUMAN BEING telling them the who, what, where, when, why and how of all things God and Christ that they simply cannot think anymore for themselves?   What kind of theological and religious dis-ease is this?

Fear? Misplaced Hope? The scriptures seem right even though the minister seems nuts? The inability to shake the viper from their arm?  What?

Sad to say but in 5 days, Dave Pack, will be shown to be badly mistaken in just about everything he has let out of his mouth this past three months or more. I'm not stupid. They always find a way to recover. Maybe not this time.  I don't think Dave deserves to recover any credibility from all this but I don't think like his seat warming members do. This will be interesting and a bit fascinating for those who can stand by and not be the victims of it.

You tell me...

Dave Pack: While the World's Greatest COG Reunification Ever Happens, Dave Remains Silent

$

0

You would think that as we hit the last week in Dave's gunlap towards the Great Church of God Reunification that he would be reporting ministers from the top three COG's had already started coming over.  By sharing their names he would get followers from each particular group joining with them.  So far, various people from various COG's are reporting that not a single person has left to join Dave.

So how has all of that been going so far?  All Dave is able to report over the last three weeks is that he had some more sod laid on his compound, some more trees planted, and a parking lot finished.  I guess that little lot is to accommodate the tens of thousands of cars that will soon be caravaning to Wadsworth.

Is the City of Wadsworth's infrastructure ready to handle the tens of thousands of COG members who will be coming to bow down at Dave's feet?  That many people flocking to Dave's compound will be a serious strain on the sewer system of the city.  The city dump will be overwhelmed.

I can just picture Dave and The Sixteen, standing in the third floor of his Hall of Ad this coming Saturday, looking wistfully down the driveway at the big lot store wondering where all the cars are. What will be going through the minds of The Sixteen?  Will they realize that hooked their wagons up with a lying charlatan?  Imagine what is going through Dale Schurter's mind right now.  Is he starting to realize the things he gave up to be with Dave?

Six days remain till the final day of restoration.  Of course a lot can happen this week.  War may start in Syria and Dave will use that as a prophetic diversion. There will be wildfires in California, heavy rain in the East, picnic's by the river, cars to be repaired, groceries to be bought and kids to get ready for school.  Come September 1, 2013 we will all be here wondering what happened.  Of course we all know the answer to that: NOTHING!

Laura Weinland (Prophetess) and Audra Weinland (Money Manipulator) Say: "Even if you do NOT have a job you are STILL required to send in money."

Prophetess Laura Weinland, wife of imprisoned FELON Ron Weinland and #2 of the Witless Witnesses, along with her money grubbing daughter Audra, are getting pissed that COGPK members are NOT sending in their tithes and offerings now that Little Daddy is having playtime with Big Bubba.

Because the money stream has slowed significantly since Weienerdude has been in prison, Audra has started doing tithe checks on members, especially if they have asked for Feast assistance.  Money manipulator Audra soon discovered that a lot of members are not sending in their tithes or offerings.  This cannot be!  Prophetess Laura and Audra have to keep their standard of living up!  This is especially true of Audra since she is getting divorced from her husband.

Of course it is always the members fault.  They are in a bad attitude and in a state of REBELLION!   How sick is that?

A case in point, to show the wrong spirit of a few, there has been an attitude that has been reflected toward God in the matter of tithing (1st and 2nd) and Holy Day offerings. Knowing the subject matter of Wayne’s sermon being about rebellion, Laura wanted it communicated to Wayne about this specific attitude, as she knew he was already addressing a matter about monthly reports that the ministry have been told to submit each month. As one of Audra’s many tasks in working for the Church, she has been asked to check tithing and/or offering records of anyone who is seeking 2nd Tithe Assistance for the Feast of Tabernacles. The reason for this becomes obvious as I quote what she sent to Wayne about this matter that Laura wanted him to be aware of. He will likely be covering some of this in his sermon, but I do not know at this point. Here is what she sent:

“I was talking with mom and she told me to tell you about the conversation I had with her. We’ve been looking up tithing records for those who have requested Feast assistance and have noticed a few who haven’t given anything in the last year, or two years, and that includes 0 (zero) Holy Day offerings. She said that it needs to be addressed in a sermon, and I said to her, “Well I don’t understand because it has ALREADY been mentioned over and over before! Tithing has not only been mentioned over and over but Holy Day offerings too, and it has been stated that even if you don’t have a job or you are on a limited income, anyone can at least send in a dollar, and it’s commanded by God to do so.” So I mentioned that it was just like the topic in your sermon “Rebellion,” and that it was just like any elder who would think that they didn’t need to send in a report, in the same way, those people feel like they can “choose” not to send in a Holy Day offering, after they’ve been commanded to do so by God. Even after that had been repeated over and over in sermons already. It baffles me that people would even ask for assistance in a situation like that when they won’t even send in 1 dollar for over a year! If they think they can ask (and would have the nerve to do so) for something physical (money), when they can’t do what they are told to do physically (sending in an offering) then do they kid themselves into thinking they can ask for anything spiritual from God, and that He would give them anything? If they can’t do something small on a physical plain why would they think they would get anything on a spiritual plain?”

This has been making the rounds of various COG blogs and Facebook pages.  I think some creative person with an Armstrongite background needs to come up with a COG Alert.
That would save a lot of problems when you are ordering extra bacon on your pizza,
or smoking a cigar at the local cigar lounge.

This would work great in Branson this year to alert you when heretic COG members from the other 6 splinter groups are entering the same restaurant as you.  This would prevent you sharing bowling lanes with unconverted heathens from other COG's

Danz Family: Christmas Play Shepherd

Nah.....just kidding! We're fine!

Luke 9:52-56
New American Standard Bible (NASB)

52 and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him.53 But they did not receive Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem.54 When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”55 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;56 for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”]And they went on to another village.

And therein lies the difference between David C. Pack, the hot head "those who oppose me have bad stuff happen to them" and the Jesus of the Gospels.

Following is just one last reminder of Dave Pack's delusional  relationship between himself and the Creator of the Universe, or Multiverses depending on what you have considered about the nature of everything.  I thank Dr. Robert Thiel of COGwriter.com for the quotes which come from a sermon entitled "All Brethren United Soon" and not to be confused from the article for public consumption he wrote on   http://rcg.org/sep/gods-people-back-together-soon.html.  In the Restored Church of God there are public declarations of belief and then there are the private ones meant for members only which occasionally slip through the checkpoints and make it out.  Dave has been known to send his Hitler Youth to retrieve "for members only" sermons from the hands of the unworthy.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a sermon Dave says...

Quotes from the Sermon:  http://www.cogwriter.com/news/cog-news/rcgs-david-pack-declares-that-three-shepherds-will-die-on-august-30-2013-is-bob-thiel-one-of-them/

All Brethren United Soon Part 12

"How could so many things happen in 24 hours?

Minute 26. Three men die- Elul 24, (Friday, August 30th, 2013) then everyone makes a decision that day.

Minute 29. Certain things about this prophesy is very complex, others are very simple.
Minute 30. No way everything could happen in one day.

Minute 32. Do you care most how the 3 Shephard’s die?  In their sleep, by fire?
Do you care who they are?
If God tells us then I want to know otherwise it doesn’t matter.
You are going to find out how they die and who they are.

Minute 33. I know their names 100% sure. Don’t want the names out yet. Now I’m certain I know.
Do you care where it happens? I don’t know where it will happen.
I know how they die and who they are. I’m certain.

Minute 34. How about when they die?  They die sooner then we thought.
Do they die together or separately. I know they die together.
Two culminating events. The death of these men is the first. The central point is God is going to bring his people back together/unify his people."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now tomorrow, three Shepherds could die in a fiery moment.  If things don't calm down in Syria it could be Assad of Syria, BibiNutcase Yahoo of Israel and Acmed the Shepherd on Mt. Carmel, but that's not what Dave Pack means of course.  And if you're like me, you do have to get past the God haunted fear that Rod Meredith might accidentally die of his old age and diabetes tomorrow or Gerald Flurry will burst into flames throwing gasoline on a barbecue to get the thing going.  I suppose Bob Thiel, who would be proud to at least be considered among the three could die if the California wildfires blew up in his neighborhood, but then we'd have to ask just what was God "trying" to tell Bob and he'd be out of favor real quick.  So I doubt these things will come to pass.  Victor Kubik would have to be on the list as President of United but I seriously doubt these guys will be in the same place tomorrow.  Gary and I have agreed to be extra careful driving and such tomorrow but also consider ourselves outside the Shepherding definitions and are mere bit players in this Joshua/Haggai mental drama.

All kidding aside, which is hard for me to do at times with the plague of passive aggressive humor running in my veins, what kind of a minister is David C Pack compared to what any Sunday School kid would know about a Gospel Jesus or any of the competing Apostles in the New Testament?
Obviously Jesus wasn't real happy with the angry and vengeful wish to destroy those that didn't listen to Jesus.  I suspect guys bluster like that, not because they want to see that happen or even think it can, but it sends the message to Jesus that they are his boys, are defenders of him and probably trying too hard to impress him with their bravado.  Maybe not. Just seems more likely.  It's what guys do when they kiss up to the boss.

Now I'm not preaching here to anyone, but I do know that Dave Pack's attitude and use of the Old Testament instead of the New is pathologically flawed.  I also can't match up Gospel and Early Church Jesus and Apostles with Revelation Jesus but that's my problem.  The meanest thing I can find would be the Apostle Paul (of course) hoping that circumcisers would cut their binkies off all the way but I don't think he really meant that either literally.  Dave Pack literally is waiting for the God of Haggai, who is not any Jesus BTW, to zap these three bastards tomorrow literally.
However, just a few reminders for the RCG lurkers as the time draws near..

Jesus (Christ for the RCG crowd) says:

Non Violence:   Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place;  for those who live by the sword, die by the sword.  Matt 26:52.

Meek, Merciful, and Peacemakers:   Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth... Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy... Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.   Matt 5:5-9

Forgive Those Who Sin Against Us:   Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven..."  Matt 18:21-22

Love your Enemies:  But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.   If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?   For even sinners love those who love them.   And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you?  For even sinners do the same. Luke 6:27-32

Love Your Neighbor, But Who is My Neighbor?:   And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the law? How do you read?" And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." And he said to him, "You have answered right; do this, and you will live."But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" Jesus replied, "A man (a genuine human being) was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.... Now by chance a priest (or a Joshua if you please) was going down that road; and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, (or a James Malm type) when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion, and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.' Which of these three, do you think, proved neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?" He said, "The one who showed mercy on him." And Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise." Luke 10:25-37

Early Church and New Testament Quotes for Peace

No Evil for Evil:  Do not return evil for evil. Avenge not yourselves, but rather give way to wrath; for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsts, give him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.  Romans 12:17-21

Do Not Hate:  Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.  I John 3:15

Do Not Hate:  If anyone says, I love God, but hates the brothers or sisters, he is a liar...Whoever loves God must also love the brothers and sisters.  I John 3:20, 21

No Revenge:  See that none render evil for evil to any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.  I Thessalonians 5:15

Now personally, I think if Dave Pack KNOWS by name,  that three human beings are going to die painful fiery deaths tomorrow, he should give them a call and warn them.  Maybe that's just me.  It's probably safer not to announce these names as when nothing happens, at least you don't have that egg on your face .  I also suspect it could be construed as a personal death threat which may have other implications.

David C. Pack is so very wrong. He is wrong theologically, ethically, morally, spiritually and literally.  He is not and never will be any fulfillment of any 2500 year old prophecy which was just meant for those folk in those days no matter what you think.  Dave Pack does not head up the only true church in the world and is not the sole repository off the mind of any God.  He may be sincere, I have no clue, but he is delusional and heading down the wrong road, which is his problem as long as one does not make it theirs as well.   My only goal is to cause critical thinking in those affected by Dave Pack.  What they do or don't do is up to them.  Life is choices.  Push back is the fuel for proving all things as we read as is vetting one's theological ideas before a multitude of counselors not on your payroll.  Since Dave allows no push back and has no genuine counselors in these matters, it seems a responsible thing to do on my own part and that of those who contribute here on Banned HWA

So that's it.  That's all I wanted to say.  It is now quiet time.  I'm feeling a bit smultsy and nostalgic so....

New Book: Cults and Closets: Coming Out of Chaos

(From Amazon) This is the compelling story of how one man was raised in a fundamentalist, Christian cult -- the Worldwide Church of God (Armstrongism) -- as the son of a pastor, later became what he calls a "devout" agnostic, and then came out of the closet as gay after marrying a woman and having three sons (and remaining close friends with his ex-wife). He learned along the way that cults and closets come in many forms. He explains how we are all responsible for creating or supporting cults of various forms and driving others into closets of various forms, but we can liberate ourselves and others, come out of the chaos and find peace and true unconditional love.

Introduction

Cults are not just extreme, fundamentalist religious institutions and closets are not just about sexuality.  We are all responsible for creating cults or supporting cults of various forms and driving others into closets that take many forms.

This is not just the story about how I grew up in a religious cult as the son of a pastor or came out of the closet as gay after marrying a woman and having three sons.  This is the story about the chaos created in my life as a result of listening to and living for others rather than listening to and living for myself and how I finally figured out how to identify the voice that would lead me out of chaos, point me to my passions and help me find greater peace.

This was not an easy story to write and it won't be – for some – an easy story to read. However, despite how raw and painful it might be to look at the real truth, it's the only way we can begin to heal and move forward, individually and collectively.  I hope at the end of the story, all who read it will feel the same cathartic release I felt, which only comes when we finally speak our truth.

But more importantly, I hope those who read it will be empowered to liberate themselves and others around them from the many types of cults and closets in our society that create chaos in our world, torment our souls and destroy our capacity to love ourselves and one another.  I hope those who read it will be empowered to find their own path out of chaos and into a place of greater peace and help others do the same.

So far this has been a very interesting book.  While many books about life in the Worldwide Church of God are written from the viewpoint of lay members, this book is the view through he eyes of the son of a longtime WCG minister.

Whatever impression you may have of what a "ministers kid" should be this guy breaks all the stereotypes.  He talks about his father a lot leading up to his coming out process.  His father was one of the uber-legalistc ministers who demanded full compliance of the rules and laws of the church.

Fitzgerald says:

We were taught that we really should not have friends outside of the church because we needed to avoid being influenced by “the world.”  My father would preach often, quoting from the Bible, “Do not become unequally yoked with unbelievers.”  He taught that this meant we were not to associate too closely or have close friends outside of the Worldwide Church of God. We were to be “in the world, but not of the world.” So the fact I had no friends at school didn’t concern my parents at this stage.  Plus, my parents had far greater issues on their minds than what was happening with my elementary school social life. From the time I was five, in 1975, until my early teens, they were dealing with the overwhelming reality that the world had not yet ended and Jesus Christ had not yet returned, as the leader of our church had predicted and the members expected.

One of the most fundamental elements of the church’s culture was the concept of “God’s Government” which was pounded into the members regularly. The way God apparently wants things to work according to the WCG: It starts with God the Father, then Jesus Christ, then Herbert Armstrong and on down the line. Male church members were to be subject to the authority of the pastor, elders and deacons, but above women and children. Democracy was “of the world.”  Males ruled. Authority was not to be questioned.   If you did so in my father’s congregation, there would be hell to pay. But he meant well. He was doing what he thought God and his superiors expected him to do. His own eternal life was on the line in his mind. In his mind, he had no choice, this was what God expected.

My father was loved by many of “the brethren” in the church, but while he helped many, he also hurt many due to how he was condi- tioned and trained to operate. Perhaps I’m too eager to place blame for his actions upon those who trained him, but while I have held re- sentments against my father in the past, I do believe he was a victim who was brainwashed by sociopaths and he was acting on that train- ing. His own fears and insecurities only served to magnify his zeal- ous approach to “protecting the flock” from perceived internal or external “spiritual” threats.

He believed it was his job as a pastor to root out rebellion before it surfaced. He became obsessed and consumed with whether every- one in his congregations had a “good attitude” and was receptive to his authority and direction and gave him his full undivided attention at all times. It mattered to him what you might think in your heart, but what mattered to him most was the attitude you exhibited in front of others. If you were humble, respectful and obedient outwardly, you were okay in his book. If you expressed public or private disagreement with anything (regardless of how respectful

your presentation) – from the teachings of the church to what activities the church did to how the congregation was operated – you were marked as being “divisive” or having a “rebellious attitude” and he made it his mission to find you before you infected others too much and “deal with your attitude.”

My father’s mentors and superiors brainwashed him to believe that if his congregants did not fear him, they would not respect him and if they did not respect him they would not follow him, meaning he could not control them. My father lived in fear of losing control – control of his wife, his children, the local elders, deacons and church members, even the youth. If he did not feel like he had complete control over everything, it was important to appear as if he was in control by proclaiming and reminding the members of his authority and the awesome importance of “God’s Government.”  Nothing was more important than respecting the “authority” of the church leadership.

While his personality combined with his authoritarian style was hurtful to many church members, his genuine love, concern and good intentions was recognized by many, which bolstered loyalty towards him.  Many ministers in the church were accused of emotional abuse and behaving like “sheriffs” rather than “shepherds,” but it’s important we not forget it was sociopaths or those with serious sociopathic tendencies – who were trained by Armstrong himself – that trained my father and the rest of the ministry of his generation. It does not excuse the behavior but helps guys like me get a little closer to forgiveness.
Fitzgerald points out in his book how the Church created it's own closet for members to dwell in.  It isolated them from the world through fear and intimidation.  The world was Satan's world filled with all kinds of evil ready to devour the TRUE believers.  Friendships remained inside the church.  Activities filled the life of the members that they were expected to go to.  Church members hid inside their own church closet.

James Malm: Jesus Is Going To Soon Stop Interceding For Rebellious COG Members

Ever the one for a life of grace and forgiveness, the apostle Malm is on another Levitical rampage against all the filthy sinners in the various COG's.  No one is as perfect as The Malm.  He knows the law forward and backwards and still is an arrogant jackass proving the point that the law does not bring salvation or grace.

Today the COG Groups are unclean through their idolatry in being zealous in following men and their organizations; and not being zealous to learn and keep the whole word of God.  Those blemishes on the bride; that uncleanness and sin:  Have separated us from our God!

Therefore we cannot have a relationship with Peace with our God or his zealous servants!

This is a very serious matter.  We have rejected any zeal for our God and his word to follow whatever men say.  That has separated us from Jesus Christ our espoused Husband and our Father in haven.  It is for this reason that:

Rev 3:16   So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, [we are a mixture of being hot for our own ways, and  cold for the ways of God.  Hot and cold mixed is lukewarm overall.] I will spue thee out of my mouth.

These this latter day COG Groups, who are overwhelmingly Laodicean, are going to be forcefully rejected by Jesus Christ, who will no longer intercede for us with his Father.  The Daily Sacrificial work of our High Priest Jesus Christ is going to be stopped for Laodicea; who has lost any zeal to learn and keep the whole word of God! Preferring instead to idolize men and organizations as little gods instead of the mighty One of Jacob!

David C Pack Diverting Attention Away From His Abysmal FAILURE of Church Reunification

Dave Pack, the narcissistic buffoon who leads the now totally discredited Restored Church of God is scrambling to divert attention away from his abysmal failure of the reunification of the Churches of God.  Pack babbled on and on for many weeks on how three COG leaders would be struck dead by his god and their members would all be flocking to the RCG.

So far the track record is quit obvious that no one is joining up with the cult of Packism. No ministers are jumping ship taking large groups of members.  No splinter group leaders have died either, not even Bob Thiel.

Knowing he looks like a complete buffoon right now, he is attempting to divert attention to his major new TV broadcasting event to start September 1.  Will he be waxing eloquent about the tens of thousands new members that have joined his church in the last three days?  Will he brag about the church leaders his god killed?

In another major advance in worldwide television coverage, The World to Come with David C. Pack will air around the globe in a prime Sunday morning timeslot (10:30 A.M. ET) on The Word Network, beginning September 1, 2013!

The Word Network has over 800 U.S. affiliates (broadcast and cable), and reaches over 90 million TV households in the U.S., over 100 million households in Europe, and 610 million more worldwide. The network blankets over 200 countries and territories via satellite and/or cable. This network also is on DIRECTV and Sky Angel Faith & Family TV in the United States, Sky UK, Sky Italia (Italy), Tata Sky (India) and Flow TV (Jamaica).

This new timeslot brings a powerful impact to our existing U.S. Sunday lineup, with six airings spread throughout the morning hours. This includes broadcasts on ION Television, CW Plus, theWALKtv and other local TV stations in select cities, bringing the total potential overlapping coverage to a staggering 270 million American TV households.

I think The Word Network needs to be notified of the sick mind of Dave and the RCG and what an aberrant cult that it is.  There is nothing Christan about it so why would a Christian broadcasting network allow  Dave on it?

I am speechless at the thought process behind this.

I never cease to be amazed at the money making schemes of COG members.  It is based in Cincinnati.  Three guesses it is a UCG person.

All that is missing is The Bible Game and the Talent's Game.

Huh?! You Know About the Feast?

Now you may be wondering, how does Coolest Toys know so much about the Feast of Tabernacles? It just so happens that one of our employees, Jason who works in marketing, observes the FOT and brought up with Elliot, the owner, that a lot of feast-goers are looking for cool toys for their children and grand-children (and maybe even for themselves). Jason wrote this:

"So I have some reservations about direct marketing to fellow-feast goers, but I kept getting questioned at Sabbath services about gift recommendations for their family since they knew I worked at Coolest Toys on Earth. They said, "Well Jason, we'll be spending our 2nd tithe somewhere, so it might as well be with you." My family of seven had the tradition to get each person a feast-present, but I know that not everyone does it. Talking to some other friends, they were afraid that if I didn't handle this well, it might denegrate the feast by turning it into the Church of God's version of Xmas. I agreed with them: that would be awful, and resolved that I would keep it suggestions only - so high-pressure selling was out of the question. I try really hard not to hard-sell to anyone, anyway. Since I get the questions no matter what I do, I would get the team to just give cool recommendations if families were in the market. So hopefully, we have the right tone that helps families out, but only if interested. And if I suggested the wrong tone or approach, I hope they find the time to email me with suggestions. Afterall, feast presents are cool - but definitely not necessary. Here in America, God has blessed us beyond belief with riches, awesome feast sites, the truth of God's plan played out in His Holy Days, and the fact that Christ died for our sins. That, by far, is the best feast gift ever." -Jason Nitzberg

We at Coolest Toys hope you have a wonderful time, where ever you find yourself this fall. Hopefully our suggestions were helpful and please, make this the best feast ever.

Dennis can't help it and muses one more time before September

Official Restored Church of God

Apostolic Reinstatement/Rehire Form

Upon Paine of Death : The Colonial Williamsburg Official History

The following Church form is to be filled out by any Apostle of the Restored Church of God who is seeking reinstatement and rehire into the ministry of the Restored Church of God.

(Any similarity to any previous rehire forms is merely coincidental)

  Important Questionnaire

(By David C Pack-Apostle formerly known as Joshua High Priest)

A crucial series of questions present themselves before every shepherd of any rank. As you read, think hard—very, very hard!—about your original calling to serve in one or more offices under the sure guidance and direction of Christ as Head of His Church.Ask yourself each difficult question today’s circumstances require you to answer. Do not permit yourself to look away from hard realities now confronting all of God’s people.

In every age of His Church, Christ’s sheep have needed shepherds. Those with special leadership training and experience from the past will be held accountable in a greater way than all others (Jms. 3:1-2). Dereliction of duty by those “to whom much was given” will mean that “much will be required” of them some day (Luke 12:48). Take a deep breath and think of yourself standing before the “judgment seat” of Christ (II Cor. 5:10). You will be forced to give answers to HIM then if you are unwilling to demand them of YOURSELF now.

The millions constituting the physical remnant of modern Israel returning from captivity are foretold to come “weeping and loathing themselves” for having rejected God’s Way (Jer. 50:4-5; Ezek. 6:8-9). What about the spiritual remnant, who once knew that Way, but largely left it? Will/does this describe you? Read the above verses, and then read the following questions slowly, carefully and prayerfully. They are the biggest way that the ministry should “consider their ways.” Consider writing out the answers:

          (1) Retirement—Mr. Armstrong taught that retirement is not an option for a true minister.
  • Did you retire? If so, when, and why did you think yourself an exception
  • (Did you think you were someone spoken of in the Bible anywhere and if so why?)

(2) Non-Career—Mr. Armstrong taught that “going non-career” is not an option for a true minister.
  • Did you do this? If so, why did you think yourself an exception?
  • (Did you go non-coherent at any time during your ministry?  If so why do you think that occurred?)

(3) Established Doctrine and Tradition
  • In what doctrines or traditions do you believe Mr. Armstrong “got it wrong”? (Include all areas—be specific.)
  • (In what doctrines, traditions or scriptures do you think you "got it wrong"? Include all areas--be specific)

 (4) Did you actively resist false doctrine in your ministry?—or give safe sermons where you disagreed? (Be specific.)
  • During the liberal years of the 1970s?
  • In the WCG in the late 1980s and early 90s?
  • In your splinter or splinters?
  • (Did you give dangerous sermons at any time that could be construed as unbalanced or a sign of mental illness?)

(5) On each doctrine where you came to agree with God’s enemies—either Joe Tkach, those who assisted his destruction or your splinter leader, such as David C Packwhy did you agree?

(6) Why should you still be considered for the ministry in God’s Church?

.Why should God’s flock ever again be entrusted to your care?

  • Are you prepared to re-win brethren’s trust, including brethren now here whom you will likely also pastor? What about re-winning the trust of Headquarters?

7.  Did you actively pursue where God’s Truth, Church, Work, College and Government were found?

  • If not, why not? Be specific.
  • If so, how hard? Be specific.

( 8) Have you read or viewed any of our Splinter Explanation Packet material?  (Have you read Psalm 51 and 30 other scriptures on unsound teaching and beliefs?)

  • What items?  Did you at any time hear my “30 Reasons” sermons of 1993 and 1994? (Parts 1, 2 or 3?)

 (9) Do you now believe again that Christ works solely through one unified organization?

(10) In light of government(s) you followed, how do you see God’s government today?  (Are you willing to submit to it no matter who you think you are or were?)

(11) Have you returned to believing that Mr. Armstrong was the final “Elijah”?—and Zerubbabel?  (Have you gotten over believing you were the Joshua of Haggai?)

(12) Have you returned to believing that truth only enters the Church through apostles as Mr. Armstrong said so often?  (And have you come to see that self ordinations are dicey and slippery concepts in religion?)

(13) Do you believe I Corinthians 12:18 applies to you with no qualifications added?

(14) Do you believe there can be exceptions to I Corinthians 1:10 and 13—regarding members or ministers in the Church?

(15) Are you willing to temporarily or permanently become an associate pastor?

(16) Are you willing to be excluded from the ministry until you requalify?

(17) Are you familiar with the new teachings that God has added to His Church on top of what Mr. Armstrong taught?
  • Which ones?—and do you agree?

         (18) If your ordination(s) is(are) invalid, are you interested in being re-trained for Christ’s true ministry?

          (19) Do you believe ministers should be able to voice opinions to others about:

  • Where Headquarters is “wrong”?
  • What Mr. Armstrong taught/said/did “wrong”?
  • What Mr. Pack (Or any current Apostle should Mr. Pack be found wanting)teaches/says/does “wrong”?
  • Where your boss is “wrong” or harsh, etc.?
  • Where you disagree doctrinally?

          (20) Do you consider yourself as having been (rate yourself from 5 being best to 0 being worst):

  • Weak
  • Cowardly
  • Slothful
  • Covetous
  • Confused
  • Compromising
  • Foolish
  • Political (And did you ever “run for office” in a splinter?)
  • Heretical
  • Deceitful
  • Easily deceived
  • Betrayed your calling

(21) Why did you lose the ability to “discern good from evil” (Heb. 5:13-14)?—and for so long?

          (22) What do you consider to be your ministerial rank?
(Joshua the High Priest of Haggai, Apostle) Evangelist Ÿ Pastor Ÿ Preaching Elder Ÿ Local Elder Ÿ Local Church Elder Ÿ “Elder” Ÿ Ministerial Assistant

          (23) Are you prepared to dedicate the rest of your life to serving God’s flock and fixing completely the horrific mess you helped cause in so many lives?

          (24) In light of how you once saw Mr. Armstrong, do you still recognize the fruits of a true apostle when you see one?

  • If you say yes, why did you follow Joe Tkach until he destroyed everything?
  • (Why did you follow David C Pack until he destroyed everything?)

          (25) Describe your spiritual condition today. (Also, rate your temperature from 0-10, with 10 the highest.)

          (26) What 5 biggest lessons did you learn from and since the apostasy? (In order of importance.)

Did you fast before you answered all of these vitally  important questions?

          (27) How many times did you fast for 24 hours (or more) before answering these questions?

          (28) How many times have you prayed over Psalm 51 on your knees?

          (29) Having now long abandoned many doctrines you said you would never leave, how would you convince Headquarters that this time you “mean it” if you intend to now “hold fast” (Rev. 3:11)?

          (30) What have been your pastoral actions during the troubles of recent weeks and months?

          (31) Are you prepared to spend a full year (or more) catching up with all you must unlearn, relearn, and learn new?

          (32) What personal responsibility do you feel for the deplorable condition into which God’s people have sunk?

          (33) How would you prove that you are still Spirit-led?—or were ever Spirit-led?

          (34) What date did you leave the WCG (RCG), and why did you remain beyond May 1995, if this is the case?  If you are the One Apostle, or were, why did you remain beyond September 1, 2013???

(35) What did you do after reading the article “God’s People Back Together—SOON!”?
(If you threw up, explain why you thought you threw up and did you throw up more than once?)

FINALLY:  You are NOT to discuss this or share it in anyway with ANYONE (expect with us)

Dale Schurter: Now That Dave Pack Has Been Proven A Liar And False Prophet, Why Does He Cover Up For The Liar?

It is now the final day for the great reunification of David C Pack's pipe dream for a united Church of God.

Pack predicted many weeks ago that by the end of August, tens of thousands of Church of God members would be flocking to his church for a great final reunification of the Church of God that would result in the world's most astounding witness ever to happen in human history.

So far, many COG's are reporting that they are NOT losing any members to Dave. Ministers have not jumped ship in droves bringing hundreds of members with them.  The three COG leaders have not died, and that includes Bob Thiel who was never considered one of thee three to begin with.  Bob is nothing more than a pimple on Dave's butt, an irritation perhaps, but irrelevant and unimportant.

In January of 2012, Dave Pack made a huge deal about Dale Schurter defecting from the United Church of God.  Dave, in his usual narcissistic over-the-top bullshit mode, hailed the defection as the greatest event in COG history.

Dale wrote a letter to the COG's membership hoping to influence people into joining Dave's personality cult.  No one did, thankfully. People saw though Dale's bullshit.

Dale wrote:

When we were led to the Restored Church of God, and did due diligence in our research, we confirmed to our satisfaction that the works and fruits of this organization were of God. Christ is the Head of this Church. We saw Christ at work through one He had called and appointed to finish the work --- to fulfill the prophecy of Revelation 10:11, which we should all know, “You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” This prophecy was on Mr. Armstrong’s mind, especially in his latter years.

The first time this was done was in the 20th century. This was the first time it was possible to fulfill such a commission. This was accomplished by God through His appointed leader and support team of the entire membership of the Worldwide Church of God. Now, just before the work of the two witnesses begins, the instruction is for His Church to repeat --- under the leadership He has appointed and sent (one sent from Him) --- yes, under another Apostle --- to “prophesy (preach, proclaim) again before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

We have found and confirmed to ourselves that the Restored Church of God is just what its name implies. And that Mr. David C. Pack is the one sent, an end time Apostle, through whom Jesus Christ, the head of the Church, is powerfully working.
Now that Dave his been exposed as a liar and a false prophet, who predicted many things that did not come to pass, WHY are you still supporting the degenerate false prophet?  To continue to hitch your wagon to Dave's death train shows how theologically ignorant you are.  You would rather whore yourself out to a lying man that to follow the "christ" you claim to follow.

Shame on you and The Sixteen other ministers who are sitting there pretending that Dave is still 100% correct.  Shame! Shame!
