It just struck me today what day it is…………today’s the day the world was supposed to be changed forever five years ago, but it turned out to be the day when almost everyone in PKG had their lives turned upside-down. 

Yup—–May 27, 2012 was to be THE DAY that Ron claimed Jesus Christ would return, but instead it was a big “nothingburger” and a lot of us were looking up to the sky (at noon on May 26), and a HUGE letdown was to follow. I still remember a flurry of emails going back and forth, and one of them was from Johnny Harrell letting everyone know to calm down and Ron will be sure to have a sermon to explain what happened. 

Ron gave a very interesting sermon that day looking back, and I truly believe he had that sermon pre-written out. IIRC, late in the day Ron posted on his blog a lengthy “explanation” of what happened, and how “heavy of heart” he was. The very next day, he gave a lengthy sermon expounding on what he wrote the day before. 

I can’t believe he came up with all of that on the fly, and the more I think about it, Ron could have had that sermon written as far back as 2008 when he made the first “change” from 2011 to 2012. He knew that there’s no way it would happen despite believing it with “all his being”.

Just the same, life has certainly gone on for me, but this is one of those days I’ll never forget for as long as I’m walking the planet. I got to see firsthand all the damage that was done to people’s lives, and if nothing else it certainly was an eye opener into how deceptive people can be. It still would take me 2 and half years to finally wave goodbye to PKG and get on with the rest of my life.

I had a hard chuckle from a co-worker today (overtime) as I was telling her what had happened back then. She said, “You mean all this was supposed to happen? I wouldn’t have had to come into work today——–I hate when that happens!”

I got a good laugh, but five years ago it was no laughing matter! 

So here we are with 2017 about halfway over, and still no earth shaking events to make one stop and pause. 2018 will be on our doorstep before you know it, and Ron will be proven wrong YET AGAIN when 2019 comes and goes without so much as a whimper. 

And there will still be those that will swallow the “disclaimer” hook, line, and sinker.

Several LCG members have commented to me about how appalling they think this invasion into their lives is.  It is all about control.  Members are still too stupid to make good decisions on their own.

Pre-Engagement Counseling—Must Read

The Bible tells us that good counsel is critical for making good decisions (Proverbs 1:5; 11:14; 12:15). Marriage is one of the most important decisions of one’s life (second only to baptism). The ministry must never become a “blessing factory,” just putting the Church’s stamp of approval on a marriage, no matter what. Rather, the ministry is here to help couples seeking marriage discern God’s will as they consider making a covenant with each other, before God. 

While the Church has historically suggested premarital counseling for all couples considering marriage, it makes much more sense to seek pre-engagement counseling. The intended purpose of counseling has always been to help couples themselves better determine if they are “right for each other” in God’s sight and to increase their opportunity for success in a potential marriage.  

Regrettably, in all too many cases, once a couple is engaged, the couple’s focus is no longer on evaluating their relationship and whether or not they are right for each other. When their main concern is planning the wedding, they are far less evaluative of their relationship. Counseling can be simply an afterthought. 

Pre-engagement counseling makes far more sense. The couple may be dating seriously but they have not yet publicly committed to marriage in an engagement and they are much more open to honestly evaluating themselves as potential marriage partners. This, in turn, gives much more opportunity for God to guide their decision-making. To better serve our membership in these critical decisions, the Church requests that all couples considering marriage seek pre-engagement counseling from the ministry before any formal engagement.

God is NOT guiding their decision making, it is the minister, plain and simple.  It is his opinion and has nothing to do with God.  Just look at the horrendous mess Rod Meredith made in the church with his "divorce and remarriage" policies he instituted in the 1960/70's.  Could there have been anything viler?  Given that sickening track record, why would ANYONE even think about using an LCG minister for pre-engagement counselling?

HEY! Are any of you awake. No mot physically but Spiritually, LOOK at the world for a moment. How is marriage coming along? I use to study in the field of crime scene techniques. This world if you haven't noticed is pretty SICK. Relationships of all types are falling apart even the God forbidden relationships ( If you don't know, please blow the Dust off your bibles and Read it). Is it really Wrong to try something different? It makes total sense to first find out if one is compatible. I guess you all think marriage counseling while married is stupid also. Getting back to my previous statement, this world and its views are Sick. Many people get married Only to seek something in return. It happens quite often on a daily basis. How many Murders are committed on the honeymoon or within 3 years of the marriage or relationship? I guess they sadly didn't do a good background or knew of a Pre- Counseling ( which may have caught things that raised Flags). The heart is very wicked and you have no idea whatsoever ( its thinking) Yea! Really, If you're not working on a 20,30,40,50 and above marriage then you probably should keep silent ( if that's possible of course). And if you're not married but in a serious longtime relationship for many months or years, then I'm less you are practicing Gods law ( No Fornication) neither of you truly have respect for each other ( Actions Speaks Louder) and you both SIN. Now I ask again, would it hurt to at least find out if a couple is compatible? If not, look at the world and pick which relationship you want. Good luck eventhough I don't believe in it.

Today, many in the USA observe ‘Memorial Day.’ It was originally known as ‘Decoration Day.’ It started after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War. By the 20th century, Memorial Day was extended to honor all Americans who have died while in the military service.

Now, here is something from Theophilus of Antioch (who apparently was part of the Church of God) perhaps written about 180 A.D.:

Consider, therefore, whether those who teach such things can possibly live indifferently, and be commingled in unlawful intercourse, or, most impious of all, eat human flesh, especially when we are forbidden so much as to witness shows of gladiators, lest we become partakers and abettors of murders. But neither may we see the other spectacles, lest our eyes and ears be defiled, participating in the utterances there sung. So, true Christians did not believe that they were to fight nor even watch the violent sports that were popular in the second century.

So, as many remember the soldiers who died in warfare today, Christians can look forward to the time that there will be no more war nor pain of war.

Merkel, After Discordant G-7 Meeting, Is Looking Past Trump

Clearly disappointed with Mr. Trump’s positions on NATO, Russia, climate changeand trade, Ms. Merkel said in Munich on Sunday that traditional alliances were no longer as steadfast as they once were and that Europe should pay more attention to its own interests “and really take our fate into our own hands.” NYTimes

The prophecy of Daniel's days comes from the Millerites of the mid-1800s later it was adopted by a church of God seventh day minister Andrew Dugger who predicted 1936 as the Advent of Christ. Armstrong joined Dugger's dissident church and began predicting the end with Hitler and Musallini as Beast and False Prophet. Years after that Armstrong adopted the year 1975 from the Jehovah Witnesses. Now let’s change the subject as we weave into some things that I think you’re going to find are simply fascinating. They are electrifying en route to things maybe even more electrifying next week. I’m going to answer some giant questions. We continue to learn that there is much more about the things we are all studying and interested in than we ever dreamed.

Now let’s ask a question. I want you to think—and this comes off of last week—how on Earth would or could we…you and I…we collectively, as a little Church, take care of God’s people without special power and enhancement…I’m speaking of miraculous…when they are, number one, as I said last week, many times our size. Number two, we’re doing it in the worst time in history to-date, and number three, we are with them—personally—under the most terrible of circumstances for them, and number four, we don’t know who they are. Number five, we don’t know where they are—other than they are on the planet with us. Number six, they don’t know us, and number seven, we likely must hit the ground running in our new responsibility, and eight, we apparently must also stay continually at their side, and nine, then there’s travel accommodations, food and clothing for us and so forth.

It’s as though whatever your job was when you escaped…you just sent your notice and didn’t give them two weeks because we have big things to do. You couldn’t possibly even hold on to your own job during that period. Unless we are greatly enhanced miraculously—mentally and physically—in light of the list I just read—and almost certainly have daily angelic help and instruction from Jesus Christ—we will get nowhere fast, and you’ve got to come to grips with that, because it leads us to some profound things.

The infamous Bilderberg meeting is about to start:

Sierra City, CA — The annual private meeting of North American and European elites known as the Bilderberg Group announced this week that they will be holding their annual conference at Herrington’s Sierra Pines Resort in June of 2017. According to chairman Henri de Castries, the site was chosen due to its remote location and convenient helicopter landing area directly across from the resort.

Researchers: Hitler’s Grave Found Outside of Sierra City, CA

Sierra City, CA — After recent revelations that Hitler may have not committed suicide inside his Berlin bunker in April of 1945, a crack team of anthropologists and archaeologists from Brigham Young and Southern Methodist Universities set out to find Hitler’s grave. The team, fresh off its recent amazing discoveries in Nevada City, CA and Lake Tahoe, have been studying recently declassified FBI documents since the summer of 2014, when the Obama administration released the controversial documents to the public.

“We were just as shocked as everybody else when the President released these redacted documents,” said lead SMU anthropologist and group representative Henry “Hank” Starnes, PhD on the archaeological team that made the discovery. “It was clear from the initial documents that Hitler made his way from Tempelhof [airport] in Berlin to Spain where he got on a U-boat and headed for Argentina. That’s the low hanging fruit of this investigation. It’s what happened after he arrived in Argentina where it gets curious.” 

The Starnes team have claimed to have uncovered a grave just outside the small, quaint town of Sierra City, CA along the shores of Sardine Lake. According to Dr. Starnes, Hitler kept his “summer retreat” at a cabin alongside the popular tourist destination. And like the Rocky Mountains of Glacier National Park, the Sierra Buttes reminded him of the Bavarian Alps in the summer time.

“You wouldn’t believe the amount of trouble we got in trying to research this,” said Dr. Smithson smirking at Professor Starnes. “I mean, no one would talk to us. Not in Sierra City nor up around the lakes. Every time we’d start asking questions, people would either just laugh at us or get very irritated with us. Especially some of the old timers who told us on several occasions to ‘get lost and mind our own business.’ So after a while, I was ready to give up on Sierra County. Thiel's "correction" only makes matters worse. He is distancing himself from the "Hitler's grave" claim, but leaving alone the assertion of the Bilderberg meeting in Sierra City -- a claim almost equally bizarre and easily disproved.

Thiel teaches that God is working with ONE MAN, who just happens to be Bob Thiel.

Thiel is demonstrably teaching falsehood, such as the assertion of the Bilderberg meeting in Sierra City. Not only is he teaching falsehood; he is teaching falsehood that any reasonably competent researcher can disprove.

As such, we are left with one of three conclusions:

(1) Thiel is God's Man, in good standing, in which case God knowingly and deliberately teaches lies.

(2) Thiel is God's Man, but is rebelling against his God by teaching stupid falsehoods.

(3) Thiel is not God's Man; he's a narcissistic and deluded lunatic.

No one would follow a deliberately deceitful God, as to do so would be pointless and fruitless. No one would follow a man who was rebelling against God, lest we be caught up in his rebellion and suffer accordingly. No one would follow someone recognized as a narcissistic and deluded lunatic.  

Thus, with his handling of the fake Bilderberg meeting "news", Thiel has ensured that nobody in their right mind will be following him. June 1, 2017 at 1:21 PM

Here’s the question—how do we…you…I…know that everyone receives the same instruction on the same day, in the same way? How do we know that? How do we absolutely know that everybody escapes together? And the answer is, it happens at the 1,335—not the 1,336 or the 1,334, -3, -2 or -1, depending upon when you get the email, you see, or the voice message on your phone, if that’s what we think, because the Bible says “Blessed is he that waits [which means “happy” is he that waits], and comes to the [1,335]” (Dan. 12:12).

Everybody comes to the same date, you know, at the same time! You know, no matter where you are…what time zone. Presumably, you could be asleep or awake…depends on where you are in the world when it happens. But everybody is waiting for that date—not some other date. Get that in your head. We escape together, which absolutely destroys any idea that you’re going to hear it from me or from Headquarters or from your local minister. That’s out! It’s impossible. It’s logistically impossible—not improbable or difficult—it’s impossible, and that’s why we’re given Zechariah 3. Zechariah 3 is not a one-off about Joshua and certain people in front of him. Think of it more as the cookie-cutter that is not only coming to you, but has to, because there’s no other way.

Think of it this way, it’s not a rolling happening that could take days, or a rolling period of waiting where some wait a little longer than others. It’s the event of a single day when we escape, and when you understand that, it just brings right up in your face…you’re confronted directly with…there is no way the Church, from Headquarters, even in this technologically amazing age, could guarantee that we could reach everybody and tell them “Congratulations! You escaped.” A lot of people don’t even have phones. Some don’t have emails, and what if they didn’t check it? How do you absolutely know that it’s certain, that it’s not fraudulent? And the answer is, you’re going to have to hear it directly from the only Being that can bring about your escape, and that’s why Zechariah 3 is there.

Now something else is kind of fascinating…And I hope that I made that clear. There is no way…Let’s imagine that at one minute after midnight…Before I go on, I’ll give you one more example…one minute after midnight, my time, or whatever is the best time for all, for all peoples of the world in their time zones to hear…I’ve now got 23 hours and 59 minutes, because it only comes to me, or it comes to all of those at Headquarters, which is kind of what we thought back in the Worldwide days…sort of that it would come from Headquarters. Now that’s not what the Bible says, but we were left to speculate.

We have 23 hours and 59 minutes—if God so generously apportioned us that time—to reach out as fast as we could to as many as we could. And you know and I know, there are people that don’t check their email; that don’t pick up, don’t check their voicemail. I don’t. I don’t use a cellphone or a computer. I would need to be told directly, okay? Maybe some others theorize they wouldn’t. But I would just like you to consider, you know, your minister…we might not even reach your minister and there went a whole congregation—“Well, we’ll pick you up in three-and-a-half-years. Sorry, you know, your minister didn’t get the email” or the phone call or whatever.

Health Issues at Sabbath Services—Must Read

Over the years, we have asked brethren not to come to Sabbath services with a contagious illness. This is based on the quarantine principle in Leviticus 13:21, 31, 46. If you are sick, please stay home until you are well, to avoid spreading illnesses to others. This is part of showing love and consideration for your neighbor (Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 22:39). While the Sabbath is a commanded assembly (Leviticus 23:3; Hebrews 10:24-25), and we should be at church under normal circumstances, it is not showing love if we expose others to illness. We would rather pray for you... than join you! If you do need anointing, please contact your pastor or local elder to be anointed, or, if necessary, to receive an anointed cloth. Flurry Becoming More Paranoid:

In the sermon Flurry gave where he told the members that HWA's prayer rock was now the stone of destiny and Flurry the new king until Christ's return, replacing the current physical royal household, he talked about Joe Tkach Jr.'s GCI moving to North Carolina and that the Man of Sin will be closer. Also, since Tkach Jr. is very involved with evangelicals and part of them are noticing cults, he will use that power to go after PCG. --R.  From Exit and Support

Big Picture or Loose Bricks?

Solomon wrote, “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but happy is he who keeps the law” (Proverbs 29:18, KJV and NKJV). Jesus told His disciples, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Jesus commissioned His disciples to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15), to warn the world and the nations of Israel about sobering events to come (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) and to prepare a people to rule with Him in the Kingdom (Luke 1:17; Revelation 5:10). To accomplish this mission today requires a team that is of one mind and can work together (1 Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:11-16), as each individual strives to exercise the fruits of God’s Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26). This is the big picture that we need to keep our minds focused on. Yet, we can lose sight of this big picture if we begin to focus on details and issues not clearly defined in the Scriptures—the loose brick or doctrine that we feel the Church does not understand—and then sit in judgment of the Church that has been given the responsibility to do the Work and make decisions in these areas (1 Timothy 3:15; 2 Timothy 2:14-23). Jesus chided the Pharisees for their fixation on the minute details of the law, while not grasping the intent of the law (Matthew 23:23-24). The Apostle Paul repeatedly warned the New Testament Church not to be misled by different ideas about the gospel (Galatians 1:6-9), arguments over fables and genealogies (1Timothy 1:4; 4:1-6) and different views about the resurrection (2 Timothy 2:14-19). Let’s all strive to stay focused on the big picture, and not be distracted by peripheral issues.

What the readers here at Banned likely don't firmly grasp is that LCG is a corporation. Corporations have owners. 

Someone's name is on the bank account and it isn't Gerald Weston.

RCM appointed Gerald Weston as the acting head evangelist. Kind of like the CEO if you will. 

What the members of LCG should be asking is where does the money trail end?

LCG brings in 8-10 million dollars a year. If they folded shop tomorrow and paid all their debts, who would be the benefactor?

There is no way on earth that Rod Meredith (who had about 3 lawyers) just gave Gerald Weston the keys to the coffers. I can almost guarantee that Lil' Jimmy and his brothers will be set for life. 

I'm not judging. Hell, I'd do the same thing if I had a multi-million dollar company! But the LCG minions are in total denial about the money and the power in their little splinter group. 

Wake up people! LCG is a business. Send your money if you must but at least understand where it is going.

PS - It would be awesome if Gerald Weston forged his name to a bunch of LCG checks in the middle of the night to steal money to start another splinter group just like Spanky did!

He compared the current transition of leadership from Roderick Meredith to himself with “another transition, one in many ways of far greater significance” - that of Moses and Joshua. 

He quoted Joshua 24:31, ‘And Israel served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, and which had known all the works of the LORD, that he had done for Israel’. 

“So it is not inevitable that, when a leader dies, the church has to go off track.”
He was careful to interject that he was not considering himself to be the second Joshua (as certain other CoG leaders do).

Remembering Dr. Meredith
Here is a poem in memory of Roderick C. Meredith (21 June 1930–18 May 2017): 

As in the days of David, Israel’s King, 

Who was greatly aided by Mighty Men 

When attacked by arrows and slings 

Springing from enemies the devil sent. 

So in this age men mighty in God’s Word

Taught what they from God’s Apostle heard: 

The end-time descendant of David, sent by the Lord. 

Of those men mighty in Bible truth, 

Roderick C. Meredith was notable, 

Irrevocable in zeal from his youth.
